Guidance for the Atlas/EQ-6
The installation is very simple and can be done by everyone.
First the original control is developed. For this the four fixing bolts are loosened and the motor plugs are taken off. Now the electronic is removed from the front plate and the printed drilling template is placed on the plate. Here it is meaningfull to fixate the template with the 2 screws and a piece of Tesa film.
Then the two 3mm holes are bored into the front plate and the cutout for the connector is filed. Here are keyfiles (it gives in the building market) are best suitable. It is with files meaningful to examine again and again whether the connector already fits in the hole and so the recess exactly into the plate. Looks simply beautiful, if the connector fits exactly into the recess ; -)
Note!!! -> with to adapt I do not want to see any metal chips on the pcb!
If so far everything is correct, the control can be inserted into the mount. For this the old processor on the original electronic is levered out and the new EQ-6 MCU update kit is inserted into the now free socket. Allways check the red marked place , so no unwanted connection to the underlying IC is made. The old processor can be sent to me gladly for recycling. Would unfortunate be, if one trowing the original MCU in the garbage ; -)
If this happened, the plate can be connected to the front plate and bolted on again. To screw the connector on the front plate use the included bolds that are in each kit. As we created it so now we can connect the motor plugs again and attach the control again into the mount.
There is nothing to be said about the handbox update. The old processor has to be pulled out and the new processor has to be plugged in. Also this processor should not be thrown into the garbage (electronics scrap!). Thanks!
Too good lastly still the sayings, without which it unfortunately sometimes comes in our constitutional state to misunderstandings:
The structural drawings veroeffenlichten by me, plates etc. are freely reproductionable for private users. A commercial marketing of devices to these structural drawings to attribute are, is permitted only with expressly written permission. Reproduction and application to own danger. For function and/or for possible damage, which due to reproductions, which from me publish structural drawings, plates etc. result in, I do not take over myself any responsibility!
That sounds itself badly, is however half so wild (with me everything functions perfectly). I have only no desire me for a damage to answer for, only because someone has from such things no notion, a Akku short circuit and the hut or other absengelt.
